Rental Fixers assesses the available information and performs routine work within its authorized scope. When specialist diagnosis, licensed trade work, permits, or a second opinion is needed, we coordinate an appropriately licensed trusted partner and remain the owner’s consistent point of contact.
Start with a practical assessment
Common requests include leaky faucets, water-heater concerns, faucet-aerator buildup, HVAC filters, thermostat settings, equipment error information, protective electrical devices, and loss of heating, cooling, hot water, or fixture function.
Some concerns may be resolved during the initial visit when the cause is straightforward and the work is within our authorized scope. Other conditions require specialist diagnosis or repair. We explain the next step rather than assuming that every symptom has the same cause.
Plumbing support
Rental Fixers can assess common plumbing-related maintenance concerns and perform straightforward work within authorized scope. Leaky faucets and water-heater concerns are among the requests we commonly receive.
When the condition requires licensed plumbing work, specialized equipment, permits, or more extensive diagnosis, we coordinate a trusted plumber and help the owner manage the process.
Electrical support
Some electrical concerns involve a protective device or an obvious maintenance condition, while repeated trips, heat, burning odors, sparks, damaged components, or other warning signs require appropriate evaluation.
We do not encourage residents to repeatedly reset or dismiss a recurring condition. Rental Fixers helps determine the appropriate next step and coordinates a licensed electrical professional when required.
Heating and cooling support
Heating and cooling concerns may sometimes involve filters, thermostat settings, visible error information, drainage conditions, or other maintenance factors. They may also require a trained HVAC specialist.
Rental Fixers assesses what can reasonably be checked within authorized scope and coordinates specialist diagnosis or repair when needed.
One point of contact when specialists are involved
The owner does not have to manage every provider alone. Rental Fixers can coordinate scheduling, resident access, sequence, progress, and major scope or budget decisions with trusted licensed partners.
If the owner already has a preferred plumber, electrician, or HVAC provider, we can work within that existing arrangement when practical.
Immediate danger comes first
If there is a fire, suspected gas leak, immediate electrical danger, or danger to anyone at the property, leave the area and contact 911 or the appropriate utility first. Rental Fixers can assist with the property response after the immediate hazard has been controlled.

Who manages the work when a specialist is involved?
Rental Fixers can remain the owner’s central contact and help coordinate scheduling, access, sequence, progress, and major decisions.
What if an electrical device keeps tripping?
A recurring trip should be evaluated rather than repeatedly reset or dismissed, especially if there is heat, odor, visible damage, water exposure, sparking, or another warning sign.
Can you work with my existing trade provider?
Yes. When practical, we can coordinate with a plumber, electrician, HVAC company, or other provider the owner already uses.
